narrative topic proposal

The topic that i have picked for my narrative is the passing of my dad. In the beginning of it i will give a little back round as to what lead up to the event. I'm going to tell how he had back problems and needed surgery. He had a few surgeries. The first surgery did not work because the doctor did not diagnose the problem right. After he recovered then he went for another one. That surgery went great. My dad was almost running down the hall after.
Then after i talk about that, i will go into how this event has greatly changed my life and how i had to step up and help my family get throught the tough times. I will talk about how i had to grow up real quick so that i can learn all the things i need to. I will also talk about how i had plenty more responsibilities at home and how my work at school and greatly changed.
